Today was regularly scheduled follow-up....and everything went great!!! Dr. B first tried to find the heartrate by using the Doppler ultrasound microphone, but when she couldn't we were offered the option of either having an ultrasound or just following up regularly in 4 weeks. Of course we chose the ultrasound, can't pass up any opportunity to see the baby. The little peanut was wiggling around and the heart was thumping along at a solid 172 beats per minute. Features were a little more defined this time, we could see a definite head with a facial profile, as well as an arm that looked like it was waving at us. We go back again in four weeks, here's hoping for another ultrasound!
